Grandmaster Robert Wheatley
9th degree black belt | President for the United States International Taekwon-Do Federation
Grandmaster Wheatley is an internationally recognized 9th degree black belt. He has trained thousands of students and world champions across the globe. He is currently located in Reno, Nevada.
Master Gordon Jue
8th degree black belt | Vice President for the United States International Taekwon-Do Federation
Master Jue has been teaching for over 40 years and training in Martial Arts since 1976. He began his Taekwon-Do training in 1979. He is an internationally certified instructor. As a Taekwon-Do pioneer in California, Master Jue specializes in instilling discipline, confidence, and self defense in students of all ages. Master Jue has also trained numerous national and world champions.
Master Terence Geoghegan,
8th degree black belt | Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for the United States International Taekwon-Do Federation.
Master Geoghegan is an ITF International Instructor and an ITF class "A" referee. While traveling the world, Master Geoghegan has had the privilege of training with many of the world’s highest ranking instructors, including the founder, General Choi Hong Hi, and Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa. He has an extensive tournament résumé and has medaled repeatedly in patterns, sparring, and breaking. He finally retired from the ring at the age of 44, after winning the gold medal in the men's heavyweight black-belt sparring competition at the ITF California State Championships.
Master Terry Batch
8th degree black belt | United States International Taekwon-Do Federation Promotions Chairman
Master Batch an Internationally Certified Instructor and a Class A International Umpire, as well as the owner and president of Taekwon-Do Training Centers. Since 1970, Master Batch and his wife, Emily Batch, have taught martial arts in the Saginaw Valley. As a Master instructor, he is best known for his innovative board breaking demonstrations, often showcasing unprecedented new breaks. His enthusiastic teaching style and dedication to students of all ages has inspired many to be the very best they can be.
Master Joseph Seszko
8th degree black belt
Master Seszko started seriously training in martial arts in 1970. The power and finesse amazed him, and he knew he was going to teach martial arts after the first time. Currently he works as a Deputy Sheriff in Belmont County and has been with the department since 1988. Master Seszko is well known for his first-rate knowledge of self-defense. He and his students are often given high compliments on their self-defense teachings and demonstrations. His current goal is to keep teaching and helping students become champions in all walks of life.
Master Nick Malefyt
7th degree black belt
Master Malefyt has been training for more than 40 years and is certified both nationally and internationally. He is the owner and head instructor of All-Star Taekwon-Do. He has been teaching Taekwon-Do since 1996.
Master Carol DeGroff-Van Zile
7th degree black belt
Master Van Zile received her Bachelors of Education in 1977 from the University of Toledo. She specialized in Child Growth and Development and Athletic Training. With over 40 years of teaching experience, Master Van Zile teaches at national seminars regarding classroom management, tournament organization, and teaching skills. The assistant instructor course she plans to teach during our Tul World Summit is what she uses for her instructors and also what she used in teaching the MA instructors in the Performance Academy Schools.
Sabunim Chad Morishita
6th degree black belt
Mr. Morishita has been studying Taekwon-Do for 35+ years and teaching for 20+ years. He has attended numerous international seminars including several International Instructor and Umpire Courses. Mr. Morishita has participated in several world championship tournaments as a competitor, team USA coach, and Umpire. In the 2010 World Championships in Cheongju, Korea, Mr. Morishita won the silver medal in Senior Men's 5th degree black belt patterns. 6 years later, Mr. Morishita won the gold medal in Senior Men's 6th degree black belt patterns at the 2016 World Championships in Brighton, England.
Sabunim Arjun Dhingra
6th degree black belt | Team USA Headcoach
Mr. Dhingra is a 6th degree black belt who trains under Grand Master Wheatley and Master Jue. He started his Taekwon-Do training in Reno, NV at the age of 8 and has continued training for 34 years. He is a 2-time world champion (2007 and 2014) and he is currently the co-head coach for Team USA. Mr. Dhingra enjoys traveling the country to work with athletes who want to also compete in international events. In his professional life, he works as a real estate consultant and mortgage advisor of 20 years.
